Wide Receiver Rankings Week 3

Dez-1024x683 Wide Receiver Rankings Week 3

DraftKings Start of the Week
Larry Fitzgerald – ARI at BUF ($6,900)

Predicting which Cardinals receiver will go off on any given Sunday is a rather difficult task. Carson Palmer has endless weapons, and does not mind spreading the ball around. But, if the Bills taught me anything last week, it’s that they don’t mind allowing everyone to eat. Eric Decker: 6 catches, 126 yards, 1 TD. Brandon Marshall: 6 catches, 101 yards. Quincy Enunwa: 8 yards away from being the 3rd Jets receiver in the game with 100 receiving yards, 6 catches 92 yards… Any reason to think the Cardinals won’t have a similar game? None that I can think of, and Fitzgerald has almost twice as many targets as #2 receiver, Michael Floyd.

Sit of the Week
DeSean Jackson – WAS at NYG

Jackson had a big Week 1, 6 catches 102 yards, and followed that up with 3 catches for 40 yards in Week 2. He’s always been a boom or bust type of player, and I’m sorry Jackson owners, but this won’t be a boom week. The Giants have allowed only one passing TD on the season, just shut down the high-powered Saints offense, and Kirk Cousins tends to complete passes to the other team. Per Football Outsiders, the Giants have allowed 38 yards per game to the opposing #1 receiver, and they didn’t exactly face slouches (Dez Bryant, and Brandin Cooks). To top it off, Jackson has been battling knee and ankle issues all week… He’s better off on the bench.
