Check out the top waiver wire pick-ups for Week 15 – because you’ve made it this far, and you definitely don’t want to let injuries (or match-ups) come between you, and this long awaited fantasy crown…
*All players available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues
Joe Flacco – BAL
You could do a lot worse than Flacco… If you’re in a pinch. Chances are, if you’re streaming QBs, you didn’t make the playoffs. But, I guess it’s possible. And if you didn’t make the playoffs, and just want to ride it out, who am I to hate on you for enjoying the rest of the fantasy season while it lasts?
Bilal Powell – NYJ
And this, my friends, is why I mentioned cuffing season a couple weeks back. Powell had value before the Forte injury. Then, Forte went down, and he went for a buck fifty, and 2 TDs… He should be the #1 waiver target.
Kenneth Dixon – BAL
His snap count is increasing, and as I say weekly, he looks better than Terrance West. Oh, and he had 11 targets last night. So, if you’re in a PPR league, he’s a viable #2 – even with the timeshare.
Kenneth Farrow – SD
Yet another example of the value of handcuffing RBs late… Difference between him and Powell, nobody really knew who he was to handcuff him. We know now. The Chargers have Ronnie Hillman on the roster, so he’s not a must add kind of guy, but he’s worth noting.
Marqise Lee – JAC
This may come as a bit of a surprise (unless you’re an Allen Robinson owner), but Lee has been the Jaguars best receiver. Yet, somehow, he’s owned in only 6.7% of ESPN leagues. While the Texans aren’t an ideal matchup this week, the Jags get the Titans and Colts in Week 16 and 17… Where he’s virtually a lock for double-digit fantasy points (PPR).
Adam Thielen – MIN
Thielen is on a nice little run – posting double-digits in 6 straight games (PPR). Now, let’s be real here, the Vikings offense is one of the last places to look for a fantasy gem. But, he’s proven his floor is relatively high.
Jermaine Gresham – ARI
Gresham? A Top-10 TE? Yep, that’s exactly what he’s been over the past 4 weeks (#7). He has 5 catches in 3 straight games, and appears to be locked in as one of Palmer’s top targets.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Since Week 9, the Bucs haven’t allowed more than 21 points, have 10 interceptions, 13 sacks, and faced the Saints, Chargers, and Seahawks during that stretch… They’ve been pretty damn good.
This week? They get the Cowboys, and Dak Prescott who has less than 200 yards passing in 3 straight games. I like it.
