DraftKings Clearance Rack – Week 4

I’ll save the long-winded introduction this week, and keep it simple… Let’s make some money this weekend!

What I’m talking about here are guys who, for whatever reason, have a salary which is lower than the value at which they should perform… Value players. Not sleepers, not long shots, but guys who are undervalued. Use them to fill holes in your DK roster, and thank me later.

Brian Hoyer – CHI vs. DET ($5,000)

30-49, 317 yards, 2 TDs…. Hoyer’s stat line at Dallas last week. 22.9 DK fantasy points (garbage time points count too). Jay Cutler is doubtful, so if Hoyer starts, there’s no reason not to take advantage of the value, and load up on skill players. Detroit’s defense has allowed the most passing TDs, the highest passer rating to opposing QBs (120.2), has only 1 INT, and have given up 7.6 yards per pass… And, the Bears are at home. No, Hoyer is not an elite QB, but he has Jeffery, White, and Royal; and he’s not scared to air it out. The over/under is set at 48 for this one, and I have a feeling it’ll go over. Great value play on Hoyer.

Running Back
Cameron Artis-Payne – CAR @ ATL ($3,400)

Jonathan Stewart is out, and it appears CAP will be the lead back in Carolina again this week. Yes, Cam and Tolbert, handle most of the goal-line work, but is a 10, 15, 20 yard TD out of the question? Carolina is a run first team, and the Falcons are allowing 4.74 yards per rush. He should see plenty of carries, and averaged 3.9 yards per tote against a stout Vikings defense last week.

Wide Receiver
Kevin White – CHI vs. DET ($3,400)

White saw 14 targets last week, resulting in only 6 catches for 62 yards, but the fact still remains… White saw 14 targets. He’s technically a rookie, and will have his struggles, but the Bears will be throwing all year. And this matchup suggests a coming out party (See the aforementioned Brian Hoyer).
